About
Dixie Jet Lures has been manufacturing fishing spoons since the early 60s. They garnered a reputation for being effective at catching all species of fish in both clear water and salt water. However, production stopped in the early 1970s with the death of its founder. Dixie Jet Lures didn’t return until 2010 when retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Tom Murphy decided to work to bring back the spoons. Murphy’s only caveat with re-manufacturing the lures was that every component in the manufacturing process had to take place within the United States.
