Dardevle by Eppinger is known for its fishing lures. The company was established in 1912 after the founder, Lou Eppinger, caught lots of fish with a lure he’d crafted out of a spoon. After making his prototype, they named it the Dardevle in 1918. The company used to sell around 500 lures a year and now sells millions per annum. They also now have more than 16,000 different sizes, shapes, and colors of fishing lures. Dardevle is still family-owned and contributes its great success and quality to the fact that it’s still American-made.
