About

Crescent Kayaks, founded in 2001 by James Derbecker in Carrollton, Georgia, has grown into a leading name in American-made kayaks through its deep-rooted passion for paddling and commitment to craftsmanship. The company began with a focus on kayak rentals, but after a devastating fire in 2018, Crescent rebounded with a new vision—transitioning to direct-to-consumer retail sales and rapidly expanding its product line and brand presence. All Crescent Kayaks are designed, molded, and assembled in the USA using their proprietary Aquatuf® resin, a material chosen for its exceptional strength and durability.

Today, Crescent offers a versatile range of kayaks such as the CK1 Venture, LiteTackle II, and the CREW 2+1 tandem, designed to suit everyone from casual paddlers to serious anglers. The company remains dedicated to American manufacturing by employing local talent and working with independent dealers across the country. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and community, Crescent Kayaks exemplifies what it means to be proudly made in the USA.
