The Coastal Carolina company is a branch of The Dean Company, a woodworkers family business. In 2015, owner Tom Dean offered handmade cutting boards to friends for Christmas. The gift was so successful he started selling them with his son on the street corner. Today, the company employs Veterans and family members of military to handcraft their products and ensure no two boards are the same. This All-American company also gives back to the community by supporting several non-profits such as Kids Making It or War Heroes on Water.
