Ciner is a family-owned fine jewelry company that was founded in 1892 by Emanuel Ciner in Lower Manhattan. Initially focusing on gold and platinum pieces, Ciner adapted to the economic challenges of the Great Depression by becoming the first American fine jeweler to transition to high-quality costume jewelry. Over the years, Ciner perfected techniques such as rubber molding, casting, and enameling to create their unique designs. They supplied their molding technologies to the US military during World War II, which helped keep the company afloat. The company continues to design, manufacture, and produce each piece by hand in its New York City studio.
