Chelsea Miller started selling her knives in a flea market in Brooklyn in 2010, but her success quickly grew. She now creates one-of-a-kind knives for celebrity chefs, restaurants, and home cooks. Every knife is handmade in her studio in New York. The handles are made using spalted apple and maple wood from her family’s farm, and the blades are forged from repurposed horseshoe rasps gathered from the surrounding area. While most of her knives are made here in the USA, she recently began selling a set of knives designed by her manufacturer in France by a family with 7 generations in knife making.
