From using USA-grown cotton to the finished piece, they estimate almost 500 American hands touch the product before it’s done. Bayside just has one factory where they knit, dye, finish, cut, and sew their products – everything is done in-house so they can control quality. Being the largest vertical apparel manufacturer in the U.S., Bayside is committed to manufacturing sustainably. Based in California, this means they have to follow stringent policies for protecting the environment but they also produce garments in an eco-friendly way, recycle all waste, and use tech to conserve water.
