Ascent AeroSystems is a coaxial unmanned aerial systems manufacturer founded in 2014 and headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, where all vehicles are designed and built. The company produces a line of all-weather coaxial drones under the Spirit, Spartan, and Helius model names, targeting commercial, public safety, and defense customers who require compact, durable aircraft for operation in challenging environments. Ascent AeroSystems is NDAA-compliant and holds Blue UAS and Green UAS certifications, and the company offers domestically sourced component options across its product line. In April 2024, Ascent AeroSystems was acquired by Robinson Helicopter Company and continues to operate as an independent, wholly owned subsidiary. All manufacturing and assembly take place at the Wilmington facility.
