Armstrong Hose is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial-strength garden hoses based in Hamilton, New Jersey, with more than 60 years of experience producing thermoplastic and industrial hose products. The company is currently run by a president with more than 30 years in the hose manufacturing business, who has personally used an Armstrong-made garden hose since 1989, while his brother oversees the factory’s day-to-day operations.
Armstrong extrudes its own thermoplastic hose using materials sourced from American chemical suppliers, including DuPont and Goodrich Chemical. Each garden hose is made to order in a customer’s choice of color and length, fitted with brass couplings, and built to resist kinking in sub-freezing temperatures and withstand burst pressures above 1,000 PSI. Armstrong backs its hoses with a lifetime warranty and states that both manufacturing and raw material sourcing take place entirely within the United States. The company sells its hoses primarily through its own website rather than through big box retail channels.
