Founded in 1954 by Fairchild Engine and Airplane Corporation, Armalite is now owned by Strategic Armory Corps. They are known as being the originators of the AR-10 and AR-15 platform firearms which they still manufacture from their site in Arizona. They manufacture, assemble, and promote high-quality small arms to civilians, law enforcement, and military markets, which include entry-level firearms, as well as tactical and competition rifles. The majority of their guns have the “Made in the USA” stamp on the spec sheets on their website.
