Aquor Water Systems, based in Bellevue, Washington, designs outdoor water fixtures including its quick-connect House Hydrant and Ground Hydrant, along with garden hoses and related accessories. The company’s flagship connector technology originated from a marine deckwash fitting the founders patented in 1999, which they later adapted into a frost-free residential spigot introduced in 2014 under the Aquor brand.
Aquor hydrants are built from 316L stainless steel and military-grade polymers and use water pressure rather than a threaded connection to form a seal. Aquor’s hydrants are currently manufactured at a factory in China owned by the founders’ family, though the company has stated an intention to move hydrant production to Washington state.
